To expedite entry and ensure safety, Lollapalooza enforces a strict bag policy:

• Small Clutch Purses and Fanny Packs: Purses and fanny packs that are 6″ x 9″ or smaller do not need to be clear but must have no more than one pocket.
• Larger Bags: Any bag larger than 6″ x 9″ must be clear and no bigger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.
• Hydration Packs: These are permitted and do not need to be clear, but they must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets (one for the reservoir and one additional pocket).

• Prescription Medicine: In pharmacy-labeled containers, sufficient for the day. Medicines needing to be inhaled or smoked are allowed only if in a prescribed inhaler. Over-the-counter medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day and will be verified by medical personnel.

Entry and Re-entry

Upon entering Lollapalooza, all guests and their belongings will be subject to search. The festival allows patrons to leave and re-enter the grounds up to two additional times. Each re-entry requires scanning the wristband and passing through security again.
