One of the country’s largest music festivals, Summerfest, is making its grand return to Milwaukee’s lakefront this summer. Celebrating its 56th year, the 2024 lineup boasts around 800 acts, including big names like SZA, Maroon 5, and Tyler Childers. Here’s your guide to everything you need about this year’s festival.

When is 2024 Summerfest?

Summerfest 2024 is now just a few hours away and will run on the following dates:

• June 20-22
• June 27-29
• July 4-6

The festival occurs at Maier Festival Park, 200 N. Harbor Drive, Milwaukee.

How to Get Tickets?

Tickets can be purchased at https://summerfestinmilwaukee.com/tickets-info/;

General Admission: $28 for a single pass, which provides access to the grounds and festival stages during operating hours (not valid for American Family Insurance Amphitheater shows).

American Family Insurance Amphitheater: Prices vary by artist.

BMO Pavilion Reserved Seating (includes general admission): Reserved tickets are around $80-$90.

Level Up Viewing Deck (includes general admission and two drinks): Tickets start at $75.

How to Get to Summerfest?

Bus: Three shuttles run every 15 minutes from College Avenue, Brown Deer Park, or Hales Corners Park and Ride lots. MCTS Connect 1 BRT line also stops at the lakefront.

Bar Shuttle: Several bars provide shuttle services to the festival grounds.

Bike: Rent a bike from Bublr Bikes and dock at the Discovery World station. Bicycle parking is near the Mid, North, and South gates.

Electric Scooter: Rent an electric scooter via a smartphone app and park it upright near the festival grounds.

The Hop Streetcar: Stops at the Milwaukee lakefront.

Parking

Attendees are encouraged to exit the highway at downtown exits and use parking structures. Parking lots open daily at 9 a.m. and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-paid parking passes are available online at the Summerfest store for $40 per day.

Summerfest 2024 Bag Policy

All bags are inspected before entry. Bags larger than 9x10x12 inches and backpacks are not allowed. Clear bags can be used for necessary items like medication or diapers, with smaller bags inside for privacy.

Cashless Transactions

Summerfest is a cashless event. Cash-to-card services are available with no additional fees at:

• North Gate, Mid Gate, and Summerfest Box Office (outside)
• Summerfest Box Office and inside American Family Insurance Amphitheater gates (inside)

Summerfest 2024 Entry, Exit & Re-entry Policy

Re-entry wristbands are available from noon to 6:30 p.m. daily for single same-day reentry until 7 p.m. No reentries are allowed after 7 p.m.
